How we work

We are travel planners and agents, not a tour operator

Beyond Slopes designs your ski holiday and reserves the individual services for you: hotels and chalets, transfers, ski guides and instructors, restaurant tables and experiences. We do this as your agent, in your name. We do not sell package holidays and we do not combine services into one overall price.

Your contracts are with the providers

Each booking creates a contract directly between you and the provider (for example the hotel). Their own terms and conditions apply, including prices, payment, cancellation and liability. We send you those terms before you confirm.

Payment

You pay each provider directly. Beyond Slopes does not collect or hold payments for hotels or other providers.

Our fee

Your first two proposals are free and without obligation. If you'd like us to plan and reserve your trip, we charge a flat fee per trip (not per person):

• Planning – $350: hotel or chalet reserved in your name, transfers, lift passes, ski instructor or guide, advice on flights and arrival times.
• Full concierge – $750: everything in Planning, plus all restaurant and mountain-hut reservations, experiences and a personal contact during your trip.

The fee is due once you've chosen your proposal, before we start reserving. It covers our planning work and is not refundable once reservations have been made. For groups of 10 or more and large chalets we quote individually. [Refund rules before reservations are made, payment method and taxes: to be confirmed.]

Flights

We do not book flights. We are happy to recommend airports, routes and arrival times, but you book your flights yourself.

Our responsibility

We are responsible for planning carefully and passing on your wishes and booking details correctly. The providers are responsible for delivering their own services. If something goes wrong during your trip, contact the provider first; we will gladly help you sort it out. [Liability limitation and applicable law: to be defined with legal advice.]

Commissions

Some hotels and partners pay us a commission for bookings we arrange. This never increases your price. Some links on our website are affiliate links (for example to Booking.com) and are marked as such.

Travel insurance

We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers cancellation, medical costs abroad and ski accidents, including mountain rescue.
